Hi, I'm Erica — and I've got alpha-gal myself.
The Alpha-Gal Aisle started the way most good ideas do: out of frustration. After my diagnosis, grocery shopping turned into a research project. Every label needed reading, every ingredient needed checking, and half the time the answer was still 'I don't know.' Grabbing a snack, finding a shampoo that wouldn't set me off, stocking a pantry — all of it got harder.
So I built the store I wished existed: one aisle where every single product has already been checked for mammal-derived ingredients. No gelatin, no dairy, no lanolin, no mammalian collagen, no leather, no wool. Vegan first wherever possible, and when something is mammal-free but not fully vegan, we say so plainly.
Our mission is simple: nobody with alpha-gal should have to starve for options. Whether it's a safe snack, a pantry staple, a drink you can actually enjoy, or everyday essentials like toothpaste and toilet paper — if it's in this aisle, it's been checked, and it's here for people like us.
